Personal

Clay enjoys learning how things work, surfing, cycling, and sleeping. He always likes finding new challenges to set his goals towards and always replaces his goals when he meets them. He found the sport of rowing through doing Boy Scouts at Newport Sea Base and seeing rowing across the way, which made him want to do a learn to row camp where he fell in love with the sport. His personal heroes are the Sinkovic brothers, as they embody the mental toughness needed to be successful in the sport of rowing and show how successful a boat can be when your brother is with there with you.
