Finished fourth in the eight at the 2022 World Rowing Championships...Reached the semifinals in The Grand Challenge Cup in the eight at the 2022 Henley Royal Regatta...Finished third in the four at the 2022 World Rowing Cup II...Finished 13th in the the quad at the 2019 World Rowing Championships...Finished eighth in the quadruple sculls at the 2019 World Rowing Cup II...Finished 11th in the quadruple sculls at the 2018 World Rowing Championships.

National Results

Won the quadruple sculls at the 2019 Senior, U23, U19, Para World Championships Trials III...Won the single sculls at the 2019 Senior World Championships Trials I...Finished sixth in the second varsity eight at the 2016 Eastern Sprints and fifth at the Intercollegiate Rowing Association (IRA) Championships.

Personal

Michael received All-Big Ten Academic Honors in the 2012-2013 rowing season. Michael worked and coached for a year after graduation. In 2018, he lived on both coasts and trained in every boat class besides the elusive triple. His mom, dad, and younger brother have been extremely supportive of his journey. His favorite place is Waupaca, Wis. He attended a learn-to-row camp at UW-Madison during his junior year of high school and liked everything the sport had to offer. He then attended a summer camp and was a recruited walk-on for the class of 2016.
