Personal
Jimmy enjoys cooking, downhill skiing, and spending time with his friends. He started rowing after getting cut from the soccer team as a freshman. He was a three-year varsity letter winner at the University of Wisconsin. Jimmy used to have very long hair and then cut it all off for charity. He lists his parents as his personal heroes. He said his mom and dad are the strongest team he knows. Their support for one another, matched with their love and compassion for their family/loved ones, is unmatched. The way they work together to take on the world inspires Jimmy everyday. Once he finishes rowing he wants to drink wine on a beach with no cellphone service and bottomless chips, salsa, and guacamole. His favorite place to compete domestically is Redwood Shores in California. His favorite place to travel is the islands off the coast of Greece good food, good wine, great people.
