Personal

Liam enjoys golfing, swimming, pottery, shell fishing (oysters)…He is a 17-time debate team champion. Liam was certified by the state of Connecticut as deaf until the age of three. He was introduced to rowing by his mother, who began rowing as a masters rower and encouraged all three of her children to row. Liam’s personal heroes are his parents. After starting their own business together, they’ve worked tirelessly to build the company so that they can live a happier, more fulfilled life. Their devotion to family has been unwavering, providing as much love, guidance and support as one could hope. Liam said he would like to be able to do the same as they have done one day. After rowing, Liam would like to work developing renewable energy projects to encourage a cleaner healthier world. He lists Gales Ferry in New London, Conn., as his favorite place to row and Cape Cod, Mass., as his favorite place to travel. He lists his favorite Olympic moment as watching his friend, Dan Williamson, win gold at the Tokyo Olympic Games. His favorite television show is It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
